In commission dollars for me that's about $1000 in commission in one week plus my hourly pay of $650. It's possible to make this on a regular basis, if you are a skilled tech like myself. Inconvénients
Doing other people's come backs for free . Having to pay $30 per hour to work on your car. Pay weekly for uniform washes. Having to do work on other employees cars at the discounted rate, and making commission on almost nothing. Always having to wear safety glasses. Dirty shop. Lack of communication. Low hourly rates. Someone has double wheel torque, and oil change steps and sign off on every work order. Garage doors open manually only. Can use your own parts. (must be purchased through the shop 10% over cost)
