I was made to install CrossOver(tracking software) of which I was not a fan at the beginning. But this info was used to track my working style with weekly feedback from career advisor that happens to also be our CEO. This feedback loop has been very good factor if you want to be more productive by creating time analysing your cycle. Work no more than 8 hours a week is strictly followed that also includes 1.5 hours of self learning(code reads etc). - Personal and professional development here is not just limited to technical skills but a lot more with end to end responsibility of your module.
Inconvénients
- With great responsibility comes its burden as well. You grow and get used to this eventually. - At times business decisions gets in the way how a techie would think but it also has its ups. This might compromise the work quality for some time. But I believe this problem is everywhere.
