The benefits are pretty good. The headquarters has a cafeteria and gymnasium.
Inconvénients
WorksafeBC likes to project the image that they are a good company with good values but this is hardly the truth. Micromanagement is very common in the company and employees get overworked and stressed. I do not feel like I am being valued as an employee that works hard. Salaries are much lower than industry standards and there is a lot of bureaucracy. There are many rules and regulations that make the job harder than it should be. There is very little creativity allowed and different perspectives are not welcome, everyone has to conform to the accepted way of doing things, for example: I had to fix my font on a document before because it was not the "correct size". The higher-ups at WorksafeBC only compare the company to other mediocre BC crown corporations and then think they are doing a good job because WorksafeBC is better...yes, but your goals should be much higher than that!
