Avantages
It's a small IIROC dealer, but bigger on MFDA side. As such, there is a lot of opportunities to learn and wear different hats. Management team has been mostly good. Salary is average, but a very good benefit plan, and a very decent defined contribution pension plan with a generous match-up of employees contributions and investments vehicles available from the parent company at reduced management fees.
Inconvénients
Work load! Everyone has a lot on their plate, and you have to be going into this knowing that regular overtime (unpaid, since you are salaried) is part of working life at this company, especially when the regulatory audits are happening, then roll your sleeves!
