I had an initial interview with the company in November. The discussion went well and I was told my profile matched what they were looking for, with the next step being a follow-up interview with a colleague from India. After that conversation I did not receive any updates for about a month. I sent an email asking for a status update but never received a reply a month late. I tried to follow up again a few weeks later, also without any response. I understand that hiring processes can change or take time, but the lack of communication felt unprofessional. A simple update or rejection email would have been appreciated.
