Applied online and was contacted to conduct a phone interview. The interview went great and I was asked to provide additional information. The salary was extremely low for an agency job and there was no communication after/was ghosted by the interviewer. Very unprofessional process and seems like they want to pay the least they can in salary.

Where do I begin? The CEO emailed me about how she didn't appreciate my Glassdoor review about my negative interview experience and that they offered a PR assistant role to someone else and gave them a much higher salary than what I was going to get. What? I never wrote a Glassdoor review.. was beyond confused. But now I decided to write one. I've never experienced anything like this and was shocked at how a CEO, supposedly a professional was conducting her interview practices let alone reaching out to write this unnecessary and defamatory email. It was disheartening to open up an email from a CEO that I interviewed for and was ghosted after my interview. I was ghosted and was not even upset and she can't even email me to reject me but yet writes me an email about a Glassdoor review I never wrote. I didn't have a negative experience with her and was even excited to work there but was ghosted then received her atrocious email. It's extremely unprofessional and unethical for someone who is a CEO to assume and go out of their way to email me and think I wrote a Glassdoor review on their company's page. I assume I wasn't the only one who interviewed with the CEO since the CEO told me that they still had more interviews to conduct. The CEO was accusing me of writing a review that I never wrote. It is defamatory and I was appalled at her unprofessionalism. How unethical. Now, I can actually write a review because I was accused of something I did not write. Horrible experience, would never want to work for someone like this CEO. Avoid at all costs! RUN!
