Such disappointing experience. The process took many weeks, very slow. 2 stages: one general meeting, second more technical with a personality test. I don't have anything against technical testing for engineers, but... Ridiculous personality tests. You have to answer some silly questions with no right answers, only pick some answers that they give you, which are all wrong. Then they discuss with you how you answered and why. During discussion the HR constantly makes such wrong and laughable assumptions with a stone cold serious face that it just looks petty. The personality report they send you at the end looks copy-pasted and 90% wrong (the other 10% is correct by accident). The only personal things in there were assaults like "is interested in coworkers more than in actual work duties" or "will not give guidance even when required". That is so low and unprofessional. I guess they get some kind of satisfaction out of attacking people on personal level instead of just measuring technical/social skills. Advice to management: get rid of those pointless personality tests and angry, disappointed in life HR's who like to play psychiatrists, they are VERY bad at it. You lose some great engineers because of them and ruin the company's reputation. I will never apply to ABB again and will advice anyone not to.
