Pretty standard interview process. Initial discovery call with HR.
I was invited to a face-to-face interview. No one provided any context on the type of interview and/or interviewers who bill be conducting the interview.
I was interviewed by a panel of 9 (!) people who were all remote. No one cared to turn on the video. The only person on site was one of the interviewers and his only task was to accompany me in the room.
The interview was a mix of behaviour and experience questions (standard about the company, management experience). One member constantly pushed on me delivering a whole solution on something he claimed would be a huge part of the role, but that part wasn't even listed in the job description.
In the future, please either turn the video on, or simply send a webex invite to candidates and don't waste their time dragging them to a "face to face" interview carried remote and with no video.
