Le processus a pris 4 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez AEI (Washington, DC) en mars 2025
Entretien
I submitted an application via Handshake.
The first interview was a phone interview with the Hiring Manager (in HR). It seemed like more of a formality/screening call.
After that, I was accepted to the Data Assessment. It involved 15 basic questions in Stata, using a public microdata set. The questions were all simple if you knew Stata. I recommend going above and beyond and demostrating even more advanced skills.
The third round was a call with 2 Program Managers, one who was in the area I applied to. This call required a more technical knowledge of the research of the scholars. I felt it went well and "was easy". But I did not get to the next round.
It took 4 months from application to notification for them to reject me. Quite slow for the very few actions that occurred.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
What research of these scholars have you found most interesting? What, if anything, did you disagree with?
Couple of rounds to test your personality, political view and technical skill (by positions). Interviews will be from HR (touch base), Program Manager (department fit) and the Fellow you will be working with
