Applied online about 6-9 weeks prior to being contacted via email. I called them back and was able to schedule an interview immediately. They were not completely on top of everything. Seemed slightly overwhelmed or disorganized. I had to wait 30 minutes after our scheduled interview time to be seen. Required to take an 80q content test (seemed heavy on pregnant woman content) which I believe you have to pass with an 80% or 70% and they score in front of you. Also attached is a 40q personality inventory test which you have to pass with a 70% as well.
Only once you have passed the test you receive an interview. It is a 6 standard question interview which your interviewer scores you on after you leave. (Question Examples; Stressful situation, dangerous situation, most rewarding experience, etc.) You also must pass this section. If you pass both of these then they will schedule you on a later date for an in house drug test and physical agility test.
If you mention you have a job offer they will tell you the wage immediately since they probably will have the lowest wage of competitors in the DWF area for entry level EMT.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The most difficult questions on the test were regarding pregnant woman. Given the opportunity to do it again I would definitely review those specifically before testing.
The interview itself was fine and people seemed really nice but what they advertise on the website and what they actually require were different.
They said they were hiring part time employees and when I went in for interview, they were only hiring full time employees. Also, they only have orientation once a month, and if that doesn't work for you, you have to reapply and prepare the documents all over again like the livescan and the drug test because they have to be up to date. I wasted a lot of time and money during the hiring process for this company because they weren't transparent about the expected process.
Good. Phone interview due to Covid pandemic. Can be a little awkward however. Overall a good experiences. Typical interview questions. Past job experience, how you would handle a certain situation... etc
