Beware - Longest interview process in my lengthy career from start to finish was with AVX. From my first interview with AVX' hired 3rd party recruiter to interviewing remotely with 4 different people to having an on-site interview day to then waiting 3 weeks after that for any type of decision the process took a total of 2 months(!). Along the way, there will be multiple periods where the company goes radio silent for weeks on end which is rude to candidates. Candidates that then make it to later interview rounds like I did are best served to continue applying to other roles at other companies - do not stop your job search and wait around it will hurt your finances to do so. In the end, the company won't tell you one reason why they didn't hire you - compensation too high?, you are too old?, you are too young? too technical? not technical enough? you will have no idea at close of process why you didn't get an offer because zero is said to you verbally along the way and at the end, nothing said via email or via text. To me to invest that much and get zero feedback is unacceptable.
