Entretien
I applied online and was then offered an initial phone interview with a principal medical writer. This was followed by two tests; a medical writing test and an editorial test. Subsequently, I interviewed via a video link with the office manager and another senior writer to get a feel for the office environment and the role. I then had another video interview with another key writer and project manager, as well as with the company recruitment team.
The process was quite lengthy but it provided me with the opportunity to interact with a number of potential colleagues and I genuinely got a real feel for the company. Axon really do care about making sure they have the right team together and were brilliant to work with throughout the interview process. I enjoyed speaking with all of the Axon team members. The role itself sounded great, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the different work involved in medical communications, as well as to focus on the type of work you enjoy the most (e.g. publications or meetings).
Had it not been for some difficulties with relocating to Copenhagen (I would like to clarify that these were due to personal circumstances and not related to Axon or the job offer) I would have loved to accept the medical writing role and become part of the very supportive, vibrant and knowledgeable Axon team.
Writing test and interviews with 5 people, took a few months. People were super nice and thoughtful. I really appreciated that they did a writing test as well. Overall would recommend.
