- Initial interview with EM - Technical Interview with team on a take home assignment (system design) - Asked random questions on K8s (couple of those questions I fumbled, because they were more factual than conceptual), and they ignored the feedback on the Take Home assignment which I was able to defend every well. This was also information shared with me by HR, that they wanted a know it all expert - which made zero sense to me The maturity of the team is very less, because some of the problems they shared during the interview process were amateurish, and they are interviewing for experts? Makes no sense at all

There were a lot of issues which lead to communication misses in the interviews. In one of the interviews, from the interviewer's side, cricket match commentary was coming due to which distractions happened, and some part of the question's important point was missed, like one of the interviewers in the call mentioned "My posts," but I heard only "post", which led to a discussion in another direction. In another so-called System Design round, there was nothing defined clearly; it was clearly a text copied from ChatGPT, and the language was also confusing. The bad thing was that the terminology used in the diagram and in the question was different. No efforts were made by them to get me to understand what they are expecting in terms of Functional requirements and non-functional requirements. That again lead 20 minutes just to clear what the question is all about. Seriously, a bad experience. I am happy that my profile was rejected later because the team itself is not clear what they want to do next 6-12 months. They had no answer for how much scale they are handling. They had no answer to the questions I asked them. They just mentioned that they will continue the firefighting and try to make things stable, that's it. I asked them what they would like to improve in the current team, and they had no answer to that as well. It clearly shows the mindset of the team.
