J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez AlphaSights en janv. 2024
Entretien
Highly engaging interviews that included a case study; however, final interview felt like a series of trick questions. The VP seemed super cold and disinterested in bringing out the best in me, but rather, asked questions that she could maybe pull out backhanded answers from. Rather than asking outright what would make me a good candidate and to discuss what about my previous roles would make me a strong associate, I was asked which of my previous roles (which were not like this one) would I most like to return to. This led to me struggling to answer questions forthright. Also, interviewers were late for every single stage. Overall, really loved the case portion, but felt slighted in the final round.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
First round: to explain my understanding of the role
Second round: to prep a case and explain reasoning, then a live mock call
Third round: deep dive into resume, but in sometimes unexpected, seemingly irrelevant ways.
I only attended the first interview. The HR manager was neither friendly nor unfriendly. It was just a normal screening interview. Only self-introduction and motivation for application were conducted in English, and the rest were conducted in Korean. The HR manager asked questions focusing on my background and history rather than understanding the job itself.
First round all behavioral. Mostly talking about previous experiences, how it applies to AlphaSights, and why AlphaSights is a fit role. Wasn't difficult, but unfortunately did don't get selected for some reason even though I thought it went very well.
Initial call with a recruiter to gain an insight into the role. This was followed by two subsequent calls with more senior members of staff which entailed more technical questions. A language test also had to be carried out.
