My interview process with Alteryx went very well. From the first conversation, the HR staff was surprisingly transparent. They would give me a date they would speak internally and when they would follow up with me and stuck to what they said. Other companies I’ve interviewed with have not offered up this information and the interview process was typically much lengthier, leaving me in question for a longer period of time. I found this to be refreshing and it provided a glimpse into how the company handles itself. The phone interview(s) did get right into whether or not you are the right candidate. What are your qualifications? How are you going to impact this business? The in-person interview was a few hours and mostly consisted of 2on1 interviews. The interviews were with members of teams I’d be working closely with and allowed most parties I’d be working with to vet me personally. The interview process was thorough and I don’t think there were any questions remaining from their side. The staff is intelligent, passionate, and friendly.
