J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Alteryx

      Entretien

I first spoke with HR, who did the typical initial screening that HR would do. Nothing remarkable, talking about my experience, what I've worked on, etc. I was told they'll take it to the hiring manager, and get back to me. Radio silence for two weeks. I figured it was time to move along, however I then received an email saying that they wanted me to speak with the team I would be working with. We scheduled a date, and proceeded to the interview. I don't know if the team was not prepared, had a rough day, or what the deal was, but poor impression. They seemed completely disinterested in speaking with me, and more focused on whatever it was they were doing while we were chatting. To say it was awkward would be an understatement. They signed off with "yeah, I don't know what will happen after this, but we'll get back to HR". I then received an email from HR the following day asking if I was able to attend the interview, which I confirmed that I was, and they told me they would get back to me soon. It has been two weeks, with the only email response that I've gotten being a generic "you'll hear something soon" after I followed up to see if there was anything else needed. I assume that they've moved on to other candidates, but perhaps not, being that the job has been listed for over two months. I get that people are busy, and that perhaps people aren't interested in conducting interviews...but that's not the candidates problem. Get a manager or someone that will do the interview correctly, and not make the candidate feel like they're wasting the teams time. I honestly don't know if I would have taken the job based off of that meeting with the team.
