Conducted several interviews with the company (6+). While everyone was nice, they continued to demand more interviews despite being qualified for the role. At first, the next round of interviews were confirmed the same day as the last interview, seemingly like you're moving along. After meeting with 6 or 8 different people, I could tell most of them had no idea as to why they were even being forced to interview me. For a company that "runs lean" it is pretty wasteful of resources.
My travel to HQ in NH was supposed to be covered by them, but never was. Reimbursement = $0.00
After the final interview in NH, it then switched to complete silence, We went from immediate requests for next step interviews to complete and utter silence. I followed up for weeks, but just complete ghosting like it was going out of style. People are busy, but a simple, "we're still working on our processes" or " I'm sorry but we went in a different direction" email takes very little effort to do. While ghosting has become a more of a "normal" behavior, it's pretty unprofessional to ghost someone after 6+ interviews.
