TLDR: Do not recommend, ghost job Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and asked if I was interested in the position that was already open for 30+ days. After 3 interviews over 3 weeks and then 2 weeks of delays I was a "strong candidate" and "we were impressed with your capabilities and agree you have much to offer, but you are not a close enough match to our current openings". Why waste my time in the first place then? I had nothing to hide when you reached out and reviewed my profile..

I was contacted on LinkedIn initially. Then we scheduled the first phone call, it seemed to be going well but then the recruiter suddenly asked "you know I am with the company right? I am not a third party recruiter." She said this kind of like aggressively, almost angrily or something. I responded with yes of course I know. Later I realized I was being too honest about my situation and the recruiter was irritated I was being honest I guess? It was kind of insulting though. The video call interview was very insulting however. A couple times I said I didn't know something and I have written anything in that lately(react or whatever) and then he would laugh and I had to explain twice that like, yeah I don't know that tech trivia off the top of my head right now because I have been a stay at home dad for a year now and I was contacted by YOUR company for this job I didn't just apply by myself. The technical interviewer didn't speak English very well either and I had to ask him to repeat more than once.
