The interview was for a separate firm. This is a recruitment agency, so I will write about my experience with the recruitment agents. Inept recruitment agency, initially reaching out to me for a role they do not usually recruit for, not knowing anything about the discipline. I talk through my experience, they seem interested and I wait a week, I receive no reply. I follow up on the initial screening, no response. I keep getting told on the phone that the recruitment agent is not in, on the phone to someone else and they will call me back (which they never do) or the initial reception cuts the phone off as soon as I mention the role, my name or the person I wish to speak to. Absolutely poor service. Recruiters don't deserve the term 'consultant' after the word 'recruitment', the term should be reserved for management consultants. Individuals who actually do a real job, don't blag, lie or shut people off without even providing correspondence. It would be nice to receive an e-mail at least to state that I can't be progressed as the recruiter didn't understand the role. No apology. No explanation. No service. Avoid this company. Google parts of the job description, find the hiring firm directly, apply direct to neglect them of their commission.
