I applied online and was contacted immediately for an in-person interview. I interviewed with two recruiters on the Talent Acquisition team and then with the Talent Acquisition Manager. The interview was your pretty standard STAR Method Interview. The questions ranged from setting goals, why Amtrak, and dealing with multitasking to name a few. However, the most frustrating part about the interview process was that I never heard a yay or nay, and it has been over three months since I interviewed. I also felt as though the Manager was trying to meet an interview quota and I was never a serious contender for the role. Bottom line you can at least send a TBNT email out. I work with an ATS system, and it takes 5 minutes tops to send an email to all of the candidates you are no longer interested in for a particular job requisition.
