I was contacted for an interview after sending my resume to an employee asking around for resumes from the lab we both used to work in at CU. Interview day included 6 one hour interviews with different engineers but no HR interview, so the interview skipped all the bullsh*t and talked about the stuff that matters. All my interviewers were quite friendly and personable though, and all gave me plenty opportunity to ask them questions as well.
