I applied online and the recruiter/HR responded to me the next day saying they decided not to proceed with my candidacy because the role "requires UK or EU passport." The job requirement/description didn't mention anywhere that I have to be a UK/EU citizen for the job and visa sponsorship is not an issue here because I made it clear to them in my application/CV that I don't need one.
