The interview process was lengthy. Phone screen, a meeting with the direct manager, meeting with the manager of a partner team, a practical presentation with 3 people, and a final in person interview. The recruiter was communicative throughout the entire process. I got up to the practical presentation which you are expected to dedicate a lot of your time prepping for. After I gave my presentation the recruiter informed me that they went with a candidate with more experience in the particular industry. It was far too drawn out. Getting turned down after going through three interviews and a practical is a brazen neglect for the candidate's time.
