I applied through a job posting for ARES DIRECT and the location said pleasant hill, ca. I was contacted via robotic email stating they wanted to interview me. Not even an hour after receiving the email I got a phone call from a girl with Ares and she set up my interview for the following day at 8am. I asked her if they were in pleasant hill and she said they were in Pleasanton and my interview would be with a man named Jeremy (it’s all in writing). I was also told to be on time and prompt, which I always am. Okay..... on my way to my 8am interview at the PLEASANTON address provided, I get a confirmation call at 7:15 in the morning from the same “HR rep”. this is not normal. I show up for my 8am interview 15 minutes early and the office is called LEGION. Wtf is that? Anyway filled out the app that the girl in front gave to me, and was told that The man scheduled to interview me was running late. I am not impressed. The girl that checked me in ended up bringing me back to interview me and introduced herself as the assistant manager. She explained the company in terms that made no sense (smoke and mirrors) and maybe asked me 2 questions about myself. The job is really telemarketing and door to door sales with no base pay. STAY AWAY from any job postings from this company and Legion. They are misleading and liars. I applied to interview at Ares Direct and was directed to a totally different company. When I asked the girl about Ares she danced around the question and explained that they were an outsourcing company for Legion. These people are out to prey on those looking for work. Do not waste your energy with them please.
