J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Argos (Milton Keynes, Angleterre) en juil. 2016
Entretien
I received an email inviting me to the interview and went along to their MK offices. I was met by two people in the team and they asked me dozens of questions. The whole interview was about 45 minutes- an hour. I didn't really like the interview style as I didn't feel like they were asking questions that would give them an insight into whether I was a good fit for the company. The questions were quite old school. Like strengths and weaknesses, how do you work best, what do you know about the company.
As a creative I'm used to more informal interviews, where I feel like I'm having more of a conversation. This was more rigid.
As much as I would have liked the job I didn't get it and I don't think I interviewed well so that's fair. However I didn't even receive an email saying I had been unsuccessful which I found rude. I'd taken time out of my day to go there, I prepared for days, and not even an email saying thanks for coming unfortunately we've chosen someone else, good luck with your job search.
Also for a copywriter role, I would always get them to send a copy test before inviting them to interview.
