I applied to the Product Design team through a referral. I got an initial phone call with a recruiter. I thought that our call went well and it was indicated that I'd move onto the next round, but I received an email rejection later that week. The recruiter told me that the interview process would go as follows: Recruiter call -> portfolio review w/ hiring manager -> take-home exercise -> on-site including a presentation to a panel I know that companies want to avoid bad hires, but this is frankly a ridiculous interview process. If you want me to do a take-home exercise, don't require a presentation (or vice versa). It doesn't seem very respectful of candidates' time.

Started with a simple screening with a recruiter over a virtual meeting, then it was followed by technical interview with someone from a product team with standard design process questions, previous experience, etc
