Four separate interviews, first with direct supervisor, then the team, then the director, then HR. It was a pleasant process until I was one of the final two candidates and met with the director. When I asked a softball question about diversity he said that they were diverse already because they were based in NYC. I was unimpressed. Regardless, after all of that time they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me I didn't get the role. Literally ghosted by a potential employer. The position remains unfilled.
