System Design + Coding
System design - 30 mins intro + 90 mins you work on your own + 30 mins presentation. It sounds great on face of it - but then the last 30 mins is really not presentation - it relies on the interviewer where they want to focus.
Coding - 1 hour standard coding interview

The process took about one week and included two steps. The first interview was a 30-minute call with HR, which also included some technical questions. The second interview was scheduled for 30 minutes with the VP of Engineering, but it lasted around 20 minutes (started late and ended early).
I received a rejection the day after the second interview. The feedback shared was that the company is looking for candidates who have worked at product-led companies that have gone through a similar scaling journey.
Based on my experience, the role seems to strongly favor candidates with a product-focused background. Being overly technical or diving too deeply into technical details did not seem to be valued as much. It’s important to use product management vocabulary and clearly communicate how your work contributed to business outcomes, such as increasing revenue, driving growth, and scaling products to millions of users.

Question 1
the main interview with the VP of engineering is talking about my role in the last company and my responsibilities and he is taking notes.
