They were unclear about the responsibilities of this role until the first interview. A week after the first screening interview, they called me in a rush and asked me to hop on a meeting at 5 pm. It turned out that they wanted me to design two mockups for their client in two days! They kept things vague, sounding like they wanted to evaluate my design skills. However, I started to feel skeptical after submitting my assignment. The CEO asked me to add some details to my mockups specific to the client, making me wonder if they used my design to have a client pitch. The overall process is just shady to me. Besides, when they gave me the assignment, they claimed to provide an Amazon gift card as compensation. And I still see nothing from them after two weeks. So my suggestion is DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!

Interview was normal and easy for this role. Some questions were asked on phone and then there was a technical interview. It had questions of basic NODEJS fundamentals and MySql such as closures, ES6 features and so on.
