Now as far my interview, it was pretty standard… for the first one. Second one was more interesting and not in a good way. In short, I got to meet the C.E.O. and went through the standard interview once more, but with a painful twist. Questions that was being asked from him was not only awkward but revealed how unstable the position was. The way he asked the questions on my commitment to the role, if I got hired, seemed to suggest that the company itself suffered through a high number of turnovers and that they were seeking someone to stick around for the long haul. Apparently previous employees at times would quit, at times without notice. They are willing to train those without experience, yet from what I’ve seen, those people are better off learning from their coworkers.
Only after a month of working, I realized on why people left. And no matter how sunny the day was, working at AAG was like a daily cloudy over cast of low professional morale and ethics. Even the drive to get to work was a mental struggle.
