J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Austin Vet Hospital (Austin, TX) en juin 2020
Entretien
This place was weird from the start. I received a text from the owner asking to set up a call time for the following day. He instructed me to call at the set time. When I did he didn’t answer (his phone wasn’t even on!) so I waited a minute and called back one more time - phone was still off so I left a message.
He texted me back over an hour later saying he had gotten busy - ok this happens but still annoying. He then asked if I could come in for an in person interview the following day. (This is during the pandemic so in-person interviews are a sign they are serious about hiring you).
I go in the next day and the owner still isn’t there, (by the way I never met or heard from him other than text messages) but I meet the hiring manager. I’m there for almost 2 hours in which I have a sit down interview and a working interview where I shadowed the front desk. So I figured that was a sign things were going well. During the interview it was strange because the hiring manager was under the impression the owner and I have already talked as he said the owner had told him good things about me. (We had only exchanged like 5 texts!)
We ended the interview with them telling me they have a couple more candidates but they’d let me know soon. A couple days go by and I get a canned email via Indeed (they had never even reached out through email or Indeed prior to this interaction). For all the personal and laid back communication this just felt very impersonally and didn’t sit well.
