I had 5 interviews with Hiring Manager, then their Sr. Director and then 3 Manager/Director/Sr. Director of other groups; and 1 coding exercise.
Interviewers went through my resume and asked related questions. They also asked technical questions, which were not too challenging. Interviewers are nice, and I feel that team is great to work with. I think their interviews are really helpful for me to prepare myself for interviews with other companies. I appreciate the time interviewers spent with me.
The process took about 3 weeks in total. After that HR contacted me to ask about salary expectation, and what they can offer (total compensation and benefits). But their base salary is much lower than the market average. HR told me she would discuss with hiring manager and got back to me within 24 hours, but I’ve never heard anything back from her. The verbal offer was not officially given yet as we haven't come to final agreement in terms of total compensation, but I would say it’s a kind of offer already.
HR should have done a better job in terms of communication as candidate also invested lots of time in their hiring process.
