J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez BMC Software (Londres, Angleterre)
Entretien
I was approached with a text message from an in-house recruiter.
Whilst it's flattering to be approached by reputable companies, the recruiter provides the first impression of any company and this is where she created a negative impression of BMC for me.
We'd confirmed an initial telephone discussion and I'd prepared for the call. Unfortunately she did not call me at the agreed time and so I left a vmail on her office line. She called back approx. 4-5 hours later saying that an unexpected problem had arisen but offered no reason for missing our call or apology. I was amazed at her arrogance and dismissive nature. It felt as though she'd called under sufferance and I could take it or leave it!
There followed vmails and emails before another telephone call was arranged and when she did call I was already on the line! Despite calling her back within a couple of minutes and leaving a vmail she never responded to my message.
Large corporates need to take a close look at who's representing them in those initial calls with potential employees.
