The interview process started with an online coding assessment that included questions on JavaScript, React basics, and some problem-solving using arrays and strings. After clearing that, I was invited for a technical interview round where the interviewer asked me to explain my projects, write a small piece of code, and answer questions on HTML, CSS, and APIs.

Question 1
They asked me to explain how React’s virtual DOM works internally and why it is faster compared to the real DOM. Then, they gave me a coding problem where I had to implement a currency converter using React hooks and API calls, while also handling errors and edge cases.
Two phone interviews, one coding exercise and one on-site with 4 people. First phone was called by the manager, about background. The second one was technical, asked questions about javascript and website performance. The on-site had four parts and 40 mins for each: design, coding exercise, technical questions and brain teasing.
