J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez BNY (New York, NY) en nov. 2016
Entretien
The interview was very short and not what I prepared for at all. The interviewer only asked me six or seven questions, all of which were pretty general. She had only been with the bank for five months so at the end when I asked her a few questions she really couldn't answer them. During the interview she took notes on a piece of paper with her questions listed. She barely made eye contact with me. I think she sends her notes off to someone else who makes the actual decision as it really didn't seem like she was the person making the choices.

They asked me questions on oops, java fundamentals and one DSA question of reversing an array. Questions were asked related to my projects, since I had used API calling, questions revolved around using API. Then some general questions like why idfc, are you open to relocation were also asked.

Question 1
They asked what is the difference between abstract class and interface.
It was simple, just a screening followed by 2 zoom interviews. I had to prepare with some STAR questions and an elevator pitch. The interviewers were pretty nice overall, and my 2nd round interview felt more of a conversation.
