No recruiter screening, I was scheduled an interview directly with 3 director level engineers. The 1st round interview went well and they wanted me to come into the office for a 2nd round on-site interview. After the recruiter scheduled the on-site visit, she ghosted all my emails with questions regarding travel which I thought was weird. A couple days before the interview, she cancelled the interview last minute and told me the position is filled. Although the interviewers were nice, the HR department was very unprofessional and left a bad impression.

I reached out on linkedin for an open position, director of the department replied me and reviewed my resume, followed up with an interview within a week, interview includes personal questions and technical questions as well. 4 people joined the interview. They want to clearly see that you have enough knowledge and you did work on same or similar project before, and open to learn more.
