Very organized interview process and my recruiter Chloe has been very effective in the communication throughout the process. I had an opportunity to be interviewed by an amazing team. Started off with a recruiter call, and a screening involved a technical interview (1 hour) and behaviour interview (45 mins). Once we clear it, the final interview comprises of 4 rounds (2 coding challenge, 1 system design and 1 Values). I must say it has been a very positive experience in all these 4 rounds where the interviewers actually want you to do good. They guided me to the right direction and provided valuable hints that helped me with the solution. However, the feedback was there was some other candidate who did better than me, and at this time within the competitive market, this is the norm where one not just have to be good but exceptional in order to secure an interview. Tough luck, but hope I could be part of this amazing team in the future some time.

First there is a chat with a recruiter to do an initial screening and level set expectations for the process and upcoming interviews. The recruiter was really great through the whole process. Then there is a manager screen with more behavioral questions and conversations around technical projects, then a coding challenge with another engineer.

I talked to a recruiter for thirty minues, then I followed up with a hiring manager for 30 minutes and then a separate pair programming exercise for 1 hour. The recruiter convo and the hiring manager interview were pretty heavily focused on behavioral STAR questions. They send you a lot of examples to prepare. I focused a little too heavily on having an answer for all the examples and didn't find as much time to prep on specific examples of my work. So, learn from my mistakes, maybe get a few answers for each category and then focus more on digging into what you've been doing at your current role. They prefer if you have experience with a coding agent like Claude. They want you to get a working solution together during the pair programming. I would prepare yourself not to overthink it. Stick to just the business requirements, don't let yourself start to imagine what the code might need down the line. They seem like kind people. Make sure you give yourself some time to prep and I think you'll do great. Good luck!
