J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Baxter (Marion, NC)

I approached Baxter through a College career fair. I am a biomedical engineer by trade, but I still was interested in what the manufacturing position could offer me. The initial interview was done on campus for me, and then the on-site interview was scheduled a couple weeks later. The HR department was very efficient in organizing anything (plus for a larger company). The interview day consisted of a series of 6 interviews. After spending the time to go out there and meet with everyone, I was very disappointed and a little frustrated when 2 of the 6 people had to cancel on me due to some prior commitment. Why schedule someone to interview, if they know they are not going to be available? Poor planning.

Question 1
The hardest question, was also the most expected. "Tell me about a time that you have overcome a challenge." Although this is one of the most frequently asked questions for interviews, I still feel that it was difficult. Besides that question, which wasn't really that difficult, the rest of the interview(s) were straight-forward.
J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Baxter (Round Lake, IL) en janv. 2025
Entretien
Lengthy. Its takes average of 2 months from application to last interview. Overall good experience. Be prepared for a lot of situational questions. I didn’t end up getting the position but the phone screening, zoom interview and panel interview were all positive experiences and I definitely feel more prepared for future interviews. Thanks for the interview Baxter.

Initial phone interviews took place with various individuals as a way to gauge weather or not to bring you in for an in person interview. Once you pass that they bring you in for a full day of one on one and group panel interviews lasting about an hour each. Quite a long day of meeting with various individuals in various leadership positions within the section you are applying. Depending on the position they may also give a guided tour of the facilities. If you look promising to them they will bring you in for a "final" interview with individuals at the top of the food chain who will then decide for themselves if you are the right fit for the position.

Question 1
Scenario based questions concerning potential work and personnel issues. Will also ask about specific problems you have encountered in the past on the job and how you dealt with them from a leadership/management perspective.

The interview was long and tough, they ask tough questions and expect you to have quick answers. Be on your toes and be ready to answer tough questions and things you had probably never thought about. Some of the interviewers try to make you feel like you are not qualified for the job, do not back down to them, insist that you are ready for this job.
