Had a 15 Minute phone interview yesterday morning for an entry level job. Said over the phone they are starting off of $28-$35/hr. Right off the bat the employer said and I quote “And the million dollar question: What are you looking for your base Salary to be?” Shocked that they would ask that for the 15 minute phone call interview. Thought they would ask this question after a few more interviews in, not right off the bat. Clearly they are desperate but I’m not desperate enough for this job.

Entretien
Simple and straightforward. The interviewer were kind and amicable. Questions were easy to follow and the interview felt more like a conversation. All in all had a good experience in the in person interview.
