The first interview was through phone with HR. The next interview was with team manager and senior developers, did not get to the next stages, but they are professional and friendly overall.
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Benify (Gothenburg) en mars 2022
Entretien
All interviews were either by phone or Zoom.
Pre-screen: 20 minutes. Phone interview with talent acquisition. Basic questions about history and skills, and the role itself. I think they asked about salary expectations, which I deferred on. I also disclosed that I was in the middle of another recruitment process, which they seemed fine with.
1st Interview: 1 hour. A manager and a junior content developer. This was useful in getting to know the role and organization better. Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions.
2nd Interview: 45-minutes with talent acquisition. A personality test and logic test. I got an email with a link to the tests from a company called Clevry, and completed them before the interview. Your personality test results are adapted to work as a behavioral interview, so be ready for behavioral interview-style questions. I couldn’t find much online to prep for the Clevry logical test, but if you study general logic tests, the patterns are similar. I took it without much prep and scored average.
I got a phone call a couple days later, submitted two references through an online portal around the end of the week, and received an offer the following Wednesday. I ultimately turned down Benify’s offer and went with the other company I was interviewing with, but Benify seems like a great organization. Everyone I spoke with in the process was up-beat and welcoming.
The only concern I had with Benify is when I asked what research is being done about expansion into other markets - something I was told several times was a Big Deal in the company at the moment - I got a sort of shrug and an 'we don’t know because we don’t work in that department'. While I get that people in configuration/content development wouldn’t know in-depth about this, you think they would have a rough idea of what was going on. It gave me an impression that the departments are a bit insular and maybe don’t communicate as much on a wider company-level.
