      Entretien

I wanted to share my experience regarding the interview process at this company, as it was quite frustrating and disappointing. Initial Call and Interview Scheduling: I first received a call from the recruiter, who was polite and scheduled my interview. The process seemed clear at the beginning, and I was looking forward to the interviews. L1 Round (First Interview): The first round (L1) was fairly standard. The interviewer asked some basic coding questions related to OOP concepts, collections, and a few Java 8 features. Then, I was asked about Spring Boot. To test my practical knowledge, the interviewer asked me to create a simple API in Spring Boot. I wrote the correct code, but due to a minor issue, the code didn’t respond as expected, which took some extra time to troubleshoot. However, despite that, my code was correct overall, and I was selected for the next round (L2). L2 Round (Second Interview): This was where the experience took a very negative turn. The person who interviewed me seemed unprofessional and, honestly, quite rude. The interviewer was from Chennai, and it was clear that there was a lack of respect and professionalism, especially towards someone from the North. This kind of behavior is something I find unacceptable in a professional setting. First question: I was asked to write a controller for a GET API that would take a request parameter and filter out numbers from the parameter. I started working on the solution using regex, but before I could complete it, the interviewer moved on to the next question. Second question: The interviewer then asked, "Do you use Agile?" I replied that I didn’t use Agile in my last project, but I had used it in a previous one. The moment I answered, the interviewer just said, "I am done from my side" and ended the conversation. There was no further engagement, no attempt to explore my answer or ask any more questions. I was left feeling confused and frustrated. There was no real conversation or technical depth in this round. It felt like the interviewer had already made up his mind without giving me a fair chance to explain myself. Conclusion: The second round, in particular, was a huge disappointment. I felt disrespected and dismissed for no valid reason. The interviewer's unprofessional attitude, combined with the lack of meaningful discussion, made this experience very frustrating. It’s extremely unprofessional to treat candidates this way, and I didn’t expect such behavior from an organization that claims to hire top talent. Overall, the interview process could have been much better. While the first round was decent, the second round was disappointing, not only due to the lack of professionalism but also because of the apparent bias and poor conduct. Advice: Be aware that the experience could vary significantly depending on the interviewer. If you happen to get an interviewer like the one I had in L2, be prepared for an unpleasant experience. It's unfortunate that my overall impression of the company was negatively affected by the behavior of one individual.
