J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez BlackBerry en juin 2010
Entretien
I received the interview through my University. This was only a co-op position so it only consisted of a 30min interview. The manager was pretty straight to the point and immediately started asking technical questions. He asked technical questions about Oracle, Perl, and some web development stuff. They were not design questions but simply factual type questions. It's either you know it or you don't so don't get too worked up on it. There wasn't too much asked about my previous work experience or any soft skill type questions.
Pretty easy interview overall.

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez BlackBerry (Waterloo, ON) en mai 2021
Entretien
The first round was technical resume screening; the second round included coding, behavior, and technical questions.
Then, the recruiter contacted me within a week, saying I am one of the finalists for the round and they would like to initiate a background check and asked me for the details.
After waiting for three weeks, the recruiter emailed me, saying the role is currently under hold. They don't know when it'll resume and will contact me by then; Very Unprofessional interview process. Please don't waste your time applying to BlackBerry.

J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez BlackBerry (Kanata, ON) en juil. 2014
Entretien
- Very casual
- Some simple coding questions (what is an abstract class, create a "shuffle" method, etc...)
- Basic English required
- Brief overview on the job description and what the work entailed
- Phone interview, was given a date of the interview beforehand and the interviewer name
- No "why do you want to work here" sort of questions
- From my point of view, apart from the simple coding questions that were asked it was more to get a feel for whether or not the interviewee had the capability of performing tasks both individually and within a team
