Interview consisted of three stages: a 30 minute phone call with a Bluevine recruiter, a 30 minute video interview with hiring manager, and a 1.5 hour video interview with hiring manager and three members of the hiring committee. They did mention that there's usually a skill test as well, but they accepted my samples as proof of skill instead.
This was by far the quickest and smoothest interview process I've ever participated in. Entire process took about a week from application to offer. Recruiter was so warm, friendly, and easy to talk to, and came prepared to answer any questions I might have. It didn't feel scripted or robotic. She guided and cheered me along through every step of way after the first phone call.
Second interview I got to know my would-be manager and more of the scope of the position. He was genuine and knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Third interview was with him and three other people who would have the best understanding of my field. Again, everyone was so friendly and easy to talk to. I came with a lot of questions and they answered them with enthusiasm and candor. I actually felt excited and invigorated by the end the interview. I knew I would be happy working alongside this team.
Was contacted for references immediately following the interview and received an offer the next afternoon.
