Entretien
A quick phone call with a list of standard questions. The interviewer is not very excited and passionate. He/she seems very tired and unhappy. When I asked him/her to tell me about their work. The way he describes it is like he is not very interested in what he is doing.

Autres retours d’entretien d’embauche pour un poste comme User Experience Researcher chez Bold Insight
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Bold Insight en déc. 2022
Entretien
There were 3 steps in their interview process (all completed virtually). First, a screener with HR. Second, going over a research scenario with 2 team members. Last, a 2.5 hour combination of a presentation, 2 more scenarios, and learning about the company culture. Everyone was nice and respectful. Communication was fairly rapid.

This was one of the nicest interview experiences I've had on the job market this year. There were three stages:
- 30min zoom interview with hiring manager. Pretty standard talk about prior experience & interest in the role. It also seemed like a culture/vibe check.
- 60m zoom interview with a research director and senior UX researcher. I was asked questions about a client scenario (that was provided in advance) and other behavioral/culture questions.
- 2-3hr zoom virtual "on-site". I was given a take home assignment (a UX question/problem) & asked to put together a 15min presentation of insights. I presented the presentation to (what seemed like) most of the company. Then I met with two senior UX researchers for about 45min followed by another 30-45min interview with a research partner. Lots more behavioral questions.
Everyone I talked to was incredibly nice - even when I didn't get the answers exactly correct on some of the mock activities (I have research experience, but no prior experience in UX), they seemed more interested in my ability to learn/grow & think critically.
Also, they moved SO FAST. From the day I submitted my application to receiving an offer was < 1 month. So refreshing compared to the demoralizing experiences I've had with other companies (ghosting after 2+ months of interviews, etc). I can't wait to get started here next month!
