The interview process consisted of only salary negotiation which I asked to have. Other than that I had a small talk with the manager to navigate to which of the projects he had available to work on

A short discussion about my previous working experience and which programming languages I know. Their position requirements are minimum. They need from you to be able to write code and can speak English.
The interview mostly revolved around my previous experience at other job positions and didn't entail any technical tests like programming or coding exercises. Overall it was relatively easy and it didn't require any special preparation beforehand.
interview was conducte in person. there were three interviewers. questions related to my scientific background. not many technical details, focus was mostly on courses I took, projects related to the job description, papers published was considered a plus,
