Recruiter contacted me by email. I inquired about the rate. They quoted a rate that was $60/hr under market value. I pointed it out to them. They said they'd check to see if they could get a better rate. I told them not to bother: I don't want to work for a company that either doesn't know my value or is trying to cheat me. Their response: "THERE ARE TONS OF IOS DEVS OFFSHORE THAT COULD DO YOUR JOB CHEAP - CHEAAAPPP!" And yes, all caps shouting. Do you really want to work for a company that's just trying to justify sending jobs offshore?
