J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Caterpillar (Peoria, IL) en oct. 2017
Entretien
Received an interview from my college's career fair. This interview was with one product manager and all behavioral/STAR questions. After the first interview, I received a second interview which was onsite at CAT's CV building. The second interview was three different interviews with product managers in 45 min - 1 hour blocks. CAT brought in 15 students to interview during the same time. These interviews also followed the STAR format. After the interviews, we ate lunch and were given a tour of the Tech Center.

You get an initial phone screen interview to confirm things like whether are you willing to relocate, do you know how to use Creo, etc (very easy stage). The next step is doing a technical human behavior type interview where the interviewer asks you just STAR-based questions. And you have to answer every question in STAR format. This was the most rigged interview process out of all the interviews I've done.

Question 1
1. Tell me about yourself. 2. Tell me about a time you had to solve a complex problem. What was your approach? 3. Tell me about a time something you did that was very satisfying for you. What was gratifying for you about that project? 4. Tell me about a time when you helped your team come to a consensus.

I don't recall how many rounds of interviews there were, but I do remember that I was only behavioral questions and was encouraged to answer using the STAR (situation, task, action, result) format.

They picked out a bullet point from my resume and asked me a couple follow up questions about it. Be prepared to answer questions about anything on your resume.
