If you make it past the HR/first interview, you will be followed up with a challenge that will gauge your skill level for the required position. If you're new in the field, this could be a great opportunity to show your engineering prowess. However if you're a veteran, this could be seen as an inconvenience. If you choose not to take the challenge as a vet, they could offer you less money.

Entretien
The interview started with a company description followed by a few resume questions. There were no technical questions. Half the interview was set aside for questions and answers. The majority of questions related to leadership experience.

Entretien
Took a solid month to coordinate a panel interview. Each person on the panel basically describes how great the company is and explained what each of their projects has going on. I was never asked a single technical question. Left with a positive feeling that I was being lined up against multiple job openings.
Recruiter would not provide a salary range for positions I was being considered for, yet told me I was out of their range after 3 weeks of waiting.
Very odd negotiating technique.
