Started with a brief phone call that was seamless. Then a zoom interview with more in depth questions. It's important to know background on mental health disorder behaviors, make sure your values align with recovery, and be passionate as well as genuine about helping others overcome things they have struggled years with.

I had a zoom interview. The lead counselor, a dietician and one other person asked me questions and talked with me for about 30 minutes. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They wanted to know about my history and even though I didn’t have a lot of experience in the field they were encouraging because I was passionate.

Very straight forward, I met with who would be my immediate supervisor the Rd. She asked basic questions, gave me a general description of what a daily shift would look like. She was very friendly and forth coming about my interview. offered me the job shortly after.
