J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Centerfield (Los Angeles, CA) en mars 2021

      Entretien

I applied online and one of their recruiters contacted me via email. I signed up for an interview slot and he called me for a phone interview at the correct time. It was a standard phone screen and he said they wanted to move quickly through the process. He emailed me later that same day and we set up a video interview with two other project managers. This was a technical interview, so it wasn't very conversational. The two interviewers got through their questions reasonably quickly so I had plenty of time to ask my own questions. They didn't give me a timeline for the rest of the process, so after waiting two weeks without hearing anything, I contacted the recruiter. He responded that afternoon saying that the process had been paused while they ironed out some details, but that he hoped he would have an update for me in a few days. A week later, he let me know that they would not be moving forward with my candidacy. The process was a bit slower than I would have liked, but the recruiter was very friendly and quick to reply, so I had a good experience with Centerfield overall.

J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Centerfield (El Segundo, CA) en janv. 2014

      Entretien

When I walked in the semi dark office, I was greeted by the owners dog which was just sitting on the floor looking at me. Of course I greeted the dog waiting for the coordinator to assist further. I was scheduled to meet with Senior level staff and VP's. I believe the company in the El Segundo office is less than 20 people from what I saw. The office was dark, lots of windows computers scattered all over seem very "start up" like. I talked about all my experience and answered basic Project Management type of questions. The company's business model was a little hard for me to understand how they work exactly, but I maintained my interest during the interview. The job description explained included more desired skill-set than I currently had. They wanted a Technical PM but also a scrum master which was not written as a requirement in the job I applied for. All the employees I saw seem to be recent grads, very young crowd and hardly anyone was in the office, I literally counted less than fifteen people. The company culture seems laid back which is a plus, but they don't have any PMO or standard SDLC process except sticky notes like Kanban which was fine, but not having a real PMO was concerning. I never heard back from the company or received any feedback from the interview so they weren't interested in me. For a company that interviews a candidate and does not provide any feedback whatsoever it's very unprofessional and rude. Candidates time is extremely valuable when job hunting and time is money. Overall it was really hard to understand exactly their day to day and they seem to have a serious lack of process.
